OK, I have implemented this backup plan, and it seems to be mostly working. However, I have hit some security snags, and I'm struggling with finding a solution. I am using /e /r:2 /w:2 /log:, but when I looked at the log from my initial copy, there were a ton of access denied errors. I went around to each workstation and propagated the parent directories' security to all child directories. I tried again, and there was still that access denied error. Setting this problem aside temporarily, I decided to try /copyall for different reasons entirely; as I expected, I got the same access denied errors; however, after using /copyall, my server now has some folders which I cannot access or delete from the administrator account. Short of formatting the drive, what could I possibly do to get around this?
